Sheryl B. Ambers,
M.S., CCC-SLP?
Sheryl B. Ambers is a certified speech-language pathologist, whom has recently been selected to be included in the 2008-2009 edition of Montclair Publishing's "Who's Who In Healthcare." She practiced in the Plano Independent School District for seven years, serving in a variety of capacities, including Team Leader and Speech-Language Pathologist for the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities. Sheryl has since practiced privately, and currently leads S.T.A.R. Music classes. She also writes the curriculum and songs for S.T.A.R. Music. Sheryl holds a Master of Science in Communication Disorders, specializing in speech-language pathology. She also earned her Certification of Clinical Competence, Hanen Early Childhood Certification, and Texas Teaching Certification. Sheryl has presented to a variety of professional audiences at the American Speech-Language Hearing Association Convention, the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association Convention, the Region X Service Center, the Region IV Service Center, and the Plano Independent School District.
